Conspiracy Theories – The Good & The Unhealthy

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed in the political and cultural realm that many people are accused of being conspiracy theorists. Sometimes it’s true, but from what I’ve seen, it seems most of the time, it’s used by people who want to shut up others who don’t agree with their worldview.

Historically, I’ve read that some conspiracy theories turned out to be true and factual, while others didn’t.

It’s good to do your own research on any news stories you find interesting but maybe question the veracity of their content. Critical thinking, an open mind, and objectiveness help in looking into any story that comes about in the news world.

But there is a dark side to going “down the rabbit hole” when digging into news stories and conspiracy theories associated with them.

I’ve seen people and even some friends who dig so deeply into those conspiracies, they can’t escape the ditch they’ve climbed into and end up being buried, their sanity shaken to the point of becoming chaotic and full of despair.

It can feel like a tightrope, where you can fall off on either side–one of total cognitive dissonance on anything put forth that is questioned by some, and the other, believing every oddity regarding a conspiracy theory on whatever news story.

Moderation and not allowing such stories to overtake your life, mentally and spiritually are of utmost importance.

Remember that these stories aren’t paramount to your survival on this planet. Rather, I believe, your health, your relationships with others, love of God and His creation (if you are a believer)–the last being the pinnacle of your existence–should be what you meditate upon daily and what matters in your life.

Keep a safe distance from getting overly emotional about certain serious news stories around the world, and turn to God in prayer. It is in my experience that this always gives comfort and peace to one’s soul.

With that all said, I believe one can question certain news stories and research them while keeping your mental and spiritual state in balance.

Case in point. My experiences.

I may question certain historical news stories revolving around wars and our national security, but that doesn’t mean I believe in:

  1. Aliens
  2. a flat Earth
  3. Lizard people
  4. Sandy Hook being a hoax
  5. Chemtrails
  6. COVID-19 vaccine is the mark of the beast

Just to name a few.

I think there is this mistaken belief by some that if you question a story our government gives, then you’re some kind of conspiracy nut. Last time I checked, all citizens are to question their government regularly. It’s part of being a responsible American in this country.

In closing, let’s not argue with each other and keep ourselves balanced in this chaotic world. It’s paramount to our sanity and survival.

“Men Without Chests” — Clueless, Heartless Elites

Our government doesn’t give a fig about us. They are out of touch with the average person’s way of life and live in their own elitist world.

This is why they are clueless and don’t care that $600 per person won’t even pay the rent in any state I know of. It may cover some utilities and it could be used for groceries, but that only takes care of a couple of needed items in order to survive.

Considering our government has been giving $1 trillion a day to banks, that tells me our government is more than able to give each person and/or family easily $5000/month until this pandemic and the recession/depression is gone.

Millions have lost their jobs, which also means many of them have lost their health insurance. A double whammy because of the stupid system of tying your healthcare to an employer. It not only puts the burden on the small and medium-sized employers, but most importantly, it makes a person in bondage to his/her employer because he/she can’t afford to be without healthcare.

It’s interesting to note, I saw a chart of other countries in the world compensating people because of what happened with Covid and the shut downs. Japan is paying 100% of the wages of their people, and other countries average 80% coverage.

The US–richest country on the planet? A big fat 0.

Disgraceful, unconscionable, disgusting, and simply inhumane. I’m embarrassed and angry.

Back to the stimulus joke. Due to the knowledge of the shelling out of a trillion dollars daily to banks, I think our government should have been doling out $5000/month for all Americans stating back in March. Instead, we have people suffering both health wise and economically, causing more deaths of despair and illnesses. It’s a disaster, it’s insanity, it’s inhumane.

I can’t get over how incredibly inhumane, arrogant, and worthless our government officials are. With the exception of a handful of them, they all need to go.

Just learning now that Trump hasn’t signed the bill but rather wants the bill reworked. This is good, but it doesn’t change my view on our government’s actions during these crises. However, I will hold out some hope that the next stimulus will actually be focused on the American people instead of unnecessary foreign aid and our government officials’ own special interests.

You always have to have hope.

The Final Nail in the Coffin for Trump

I don’t know if you have been following the news regarding the state of our economy, but it isn’t good. In fact, it’s terrible, tragic, and unacceptable.

Why do I say unacceptable?

Well, let me just back track for a moment.

A few reports in 2019 showed that there was a lot of dumping of cash and assets into venues such as banking institutions and other big corporate entities to try and stave off another bad recession.

We never seem to learn from our mistakes.

Maybe it’s because the majority of this country’s leaders/those in power are too full of pride/arrogance and greed, blinded by their own passions/sins.

Having heard that Trump has basically pulled the plug on any stimulus package getting out to the millions of people struggling in our country until after he’s re-elected IS the nail in the coffin for Trump.

He will not be re-elected, along with those in congress who have done diddly squat and don’t give a damn about the average American, for which there are too many.

However, back to why this horrible economic situation is unacceptable and a disgrace.

People could still be working to this day if Trump and our congress had enacted an emergency UBI throughout this pandemic and economic crises.

No. Instead, they dug their heels in to keep padding those with enough money to end world hunger and are living well throughout this devastating year.

In other words, the majority of wealthy American who didn’t need the extra money got plenty, while our government allowed working class and middle class citizens to lose their jobs and with that, their livelihood.

The fact that suicides are going up isn’t a coincidence. Whenever the economy drops, around 40,000 people die from what I heard through news reports.

Despair, hopelessness, depression, anxiety, and plain exhaustion are weighing down people, and for so many, it’s too heavy a weight to bear.

So, unless something is done about all the people going hungry, losing a place for them to live, to basically survive, this situation will only become catastrophic, and God help us if that happens…although it’s already started.

A UBI should have been enacted by March 2020.

They still need to do this or come up with a real stimulus to help the average Americans and small businesses.

Personally, I think the UBI would be the most secure and solid, especially using Andrew Yang’s idea of that money being collected from big tech companies’ sales that uses our personal data to make money they gather every hour of the day. We deserve dividends on that.

May God enlighten our leaders, soften their hearts, open their minds to the plight of those suffering all around the country, and do their jobs to help turn this ship around before it sinks.
