Respect: A Moving Tribute

A couple of nights ago, I watched on Amazon Prime the movie about Aretha Franklin’s life story called Respect.

It was amazing, moving, touching, and really well done!

I learned so much about her that I didn’t know. In fact, I knew very little of her private life.

Her story is full of suffering, love, triumphs, conflicts, bravery, faith, and redemption.

Her gospel album, Amazing Grace, was the bestselling album of all her fantastic albums.

I decided to listen to the whole album via you tube starting yesterday evening.

So moving. So touching.

I’ve always loved gospel music. It’s uplifting and touches the soul.

Check out Respect. You won’t be sorry.

Without You…

Thanks to all the people/readers out there that pre-ordered and bought print copies of my book, Painted with Good Intentions.

My pre-orders have gone up after each novel I’ve put out: Passage of Promise, What She Didn’t Know, and now Painted with Good Intentions.

I’m touched so very much and thrilled in the interest in my book and my past books.

This encourages me to keep writing!

I was going to quit writing at this point.

I have two stories that I was working on, but I’ve not had time to concentrate on either one.

I figured if I got anything out, it would be maybe in a year or possibly two, which isn’t bad.

Also, this gives readers who’ve wanted to catch up on the books I’ve put out, time to do so.

In any case, the interest and joy and satisfaction my readers get out of reading my stories is the whole reason I write.

Thanks for the encouragement to continue to do so!
